My good friend Stelth is in the great local band ‘Dovekins‘. Before they left on tour, Stelth came over and we designed the artwork for his new album ‘(a)live.’ Stelth wanted something unique, so i ended up making an entire font specifically for this project. Naturally, i called it “Dovekins”

We sent the art to Stumptown Printers in Oregon to be letterpressed. The result is fantastic. I had no idea that letterpresses could produce such tiny halftones so i was incredibly impressed. New goal: acquire a letterpress. This was also the first band from the Long spoon collective that i had worked with. A very fun project.
