Kuhn Projects – Website Development IN: archive
Kuhn Projects is a literary agency in New York, New York. They wanted a very, very simple site, but something easy to update. I built a Wordpress theme for them that was exactly that. I called in some big guns from my programmer friend Tim Zappe, and we built an insane setup for these guys.
The home page is a scrolling cover gallery that auto resizes, splits and randomizes the images in the gallery, so every time a user visits the home page they see a new layout. The author page lets them add authors and upcoming titles with ease, auto sorts authors alphabetically, and allows stylized linking to twitter and facebook. The “about” page has a small news blog that feeds one line links about their authors, and is updated like a blog. The Foreign Rights page (accessible under “contact”) makes use of some JQuery (UI) accordion scripts, and auto sorts each country (which are updated by blog posts.) I learned SO much from this theme.
